Eligibility Rules for ECO Funding are Changing!
As well as pension credit, universal credit, income support, ESA and JSA
all households on low incomes may be eligible for a free replacement boiler or electric storage heaters.
To qualify for a grant you must own or privately rent your property. Unfortunately, Council or Housing Association tenants are not eligible, unless you own over 50% of a Housing Association property. Private tenants will require verbal permission from the landlord before we can process your application.
The new scheme has been opened up to more people. All those on lower incomes do qualify more easily under the new scheme. The incomes are as below:
